6 Days Seven Churches Of The Revelation Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

Upon your arrival at Istanbul Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2: Istanbul Old City Tour (Breakfast)

After breakfast, begin your Istanbul city tour. We will drive to the old city of Istanbul. We will be visiting Hagia Sophia a remarkable basilica built by Emperor Justinian in the 2nd century. Explore the Blue Mosque, also known as the Mosque of Sultan Ahmet, with its distinctive six minarets and beautiful interiors adorned with blue tiles. Continue to the remnants of the Hippodrome of Constantinople, once a venue for chariot races. Explore the opulent history of the Ottoman Empire at Topkapi Palace, now a museum housing a diverse collection of treasures, porcelain, antiques, and holy relics. End your day with some local shopping at the Grand Bazaar, featuring over 4,000 shops. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Istanbul.

Day 3: Pergamum – Thyatira – Smyrna (Breakfast)

In the early morning, transfer to the airport and fly to Izmir. Upon arrival, meet your guide and journey to Pergamum. Explore the impressive Acropolis, the ancient city itself, and notable sites like the Altar of Zeus, referred to as the ‘throne of Satan,’ the Temple of Trajan, and the third-largest Library of antiquity. Visit the Red Basilica (St. John’s Church) and then proceed to Thyatira, now called Akhisar. Discover the remains of a basilica and architectural fragments from the Roman period. Enjoy a panoramic ride through Smyrna, one of the Seven Churches of Asia and the third-largest city in Turkey, before checking in at your Izmir hotel. Overnight in Izmir.

Day 4: Hierapolis, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea (Breakfast)

Today’s journey takes you to Sardis, where you’ll explore well-preserved structures like the gymnasium and Synagogue. Continue to Philadelphia, now known as Alasehir, and witness the remains of a Byzantine basilica with distinctive arches and 11th-century frescoes. Next, head to the healing city of Hierapolis, also known as Pamukkale, famous for its cascading hot mineral water. Visit the Martyrium of the Apostle Philip before driving to Laodicea. Walk among the ancient streets and structures of this historical city. Overnight in a Thermal Hotel in Pamukkale.

Day 5: Ephesus Tour including Virgin Mary’s House and St. John’s Basilica(Breakfast)

Begin your day with a journey to Ephesus, where you’ll explore marble-lined streets adorned with impressive public buildings like the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Theatre. Drive to the House of Virgin Mary, believed to be her final resting place. Visit the Basilica of St. John and the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Return to your hotel in Kusadasi for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Departure (Breakfast)
